Cone Beam CT Scan

Our practice utilizes a state-of-the-art Kodak 9500, full-volume (entire head) cone-beam CT (computed tomography) technology that provides highly accurate 3-D radiographic images for the diagnosis, planning and treatment of oral surgery problems including orthognathic surgery, dental implant placement, temperomandibular joint (TMJ) evaluation, airway assessment for obstructed sleep apnea, impacted teeth, facial bone fractures, jaw cyst and tumors and other dental procedures.  Undistorted, anatomically correct views of the jaws, teeth and facial bones along with trans-axial (bucco-lingual), axial (up and down), coronal (front to back), sagittal (side to side), cephalometric and panoramic views are easily generated. Three-dimensional images enable a level of anatomical accuracy and patient care not possible with standard 2-D technologies.  In addition cone beam CT is 1/5th the radiation as compared to hospital type CT scanners, convenient since it is done in our office, fast ,taking only 24 seconds, and extremely cost effective.  We invite your inquires to this exciting technology.

With the addition of cone-beam CT technology in our office, our practice is committed to providing innovative, high-quality, patient care.
