Meet The Doctor
Dr. Daniel Levin, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Daniel E. Levin graduated from UCLA with honors in 1971 with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Bacteriology. He continued his studies at UCLA, graduating from the School of Dentistry in 1975. He completed his internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Hospital and Medical Center. He is married with two grown children. His wife, Dr. Patrice Punim (Levin), has an active practice in Orthodontics also in Huntington Beach. His oldest son is an Attorney at Law in Irvine and his youngest is in his 3rd year at UCLA in pre-dental studies.
The Oral Surgery office is associated with our out-patient surgery center known as the Huntington Beach Center for Maxillofacial Services, Inc.
Dr. Levin is Board Certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Levin also holds fellowships in the following organizations:
- American Dental Society of Anesthesiology
- American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons
- Southern California Academy of Oral Pathology
He is further a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Orange County Dental Society.
Dr. Levin is on the medical staff of several local hospitals including Hoag Hospital, Orange Coast Memorial, Long Beach Memorial and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital.
When not in the office, he is an avid daily runner logging in nearly 100 miles per month and has recently taken up road biking. He is known affectionately by his family and friends as a neurotic exerciser. Oh well, there could be worse things. In any case, as you know what someone says, you should practice what your preach (health, that is). Finally, Dr. Levin really enjoys anything UCLA sports and believe it or not, he is still taking weekly piano lessons!
